Pergamum was one of the most beautiful cities of the ancient world. Its architects and sculptors were amongst the finest in the Hellenistic world. The majestic acropolis looms behind the modern town. The places to be visited are Pergamum Acropolis with Temple of Trajan, Hellenistic Barracks, Library, Temple of Athena, Theatre and the Altar of Zeus; Asclepion, one of the most famous shrines and therapeutic centers in the ancient world; Pass by Red Courtyard, originally served as Temple of Serapis but later symbolized one of the Seven Churches of Anatolia. Drive back to Izmir or Kusadasi.

Drive to Priene, the first planned city in the ancient world, and visit to the Theatre, the Temple of Athena, Agora, the Bouleterion, the Zeus Altar. Then proceed to Miletus, the famous Ionian city that had also been visited by St. Paul during his missionary trip. Finally drive to Didyma to see the well preserved Apollo Temple that had been inhabited only by the priests and suppliants who came to consult the famous Oracle there. Drive back to Kusadasi or Izmir.

Drive back to Kusadasi or Izmir.

Early departure in the morning and arrive in Pamukkale"Cotton Castle", the ancient Hierapolis famous for healing thermal/mineral baths and beautiful petrified waterfalls. Visit to the historical site including the magnificently preserved Necropolis, the Main Street and Gates, the Thermal Baths, the Apollo Temple with the Devil's Hole and the masterpiece Theatre. Swimming or a therapeutic bath in the hot spring waters is one of your year-round options before returning back to Izmir.

Departure in the morning. Visit to the House of Virgin Mary where she is supposed to spend her last years together with St. John; Ephesus Antique City (Hillside Houses are excluded; entrance requires additional $20 entrance fee), one of the most popular ancient sites of Turkey with many acres of carefully excavated ruins. St. John’s Basilica or Ephesus Museum depending on the preference of the guests and therafter drive to Sardis to visit the Gymnasium and the Temple area. Drive back to the airport or hotel in Izmir.

Drive to Sardis, the capital of ancient Lydia. View the significant ruins of Acropolis. Visit the Temple of Cybele and Diana, which later became a church. See the golden river Pactalos and the Royal Road. Then visit the reconstructed Synagogue, the Gymnasium and the new excavation area. Drive to Izmir and time for lunch (Exclusive). Thereafter, visit the Bet Israel Synagogue and Dario Moreno Street. End of the tour in Izmir.
